Angel

Meet Angel! Angel is a 4 year old pittie that ended up at DAS as a stray, terrified and completely overwhelmed by shelter life. When we heard about her and saw the state she was in emotionally, we knew she needed out. She didn’t need more time in a kennel — she needed safety, patience, and someone willing to show her that the world wasn’t such a scary place.

And once Angel realized she was safe? Her personality started shining through.

This girl is SO incredibly sweet. She is loving, gentle, affectionate, and just wants to be close to her people. Angel has settled beautifully into foster care and is finally getting to experience what it’s like to be loved and cared for consistently. Watching her decompress and learn how to just be a dog again has been so special.

She loves lounging around with her people, soaking up attention, and enjoying the simple things in life that she probably didn’t get much of before. Angel has wonderful manners, a calm demeanor, and such a kind soul. She’s the type of dog that just melts into you when she trusts you.

After everything she’s been through, Angel deserves a home where she will never again have to wonder if she’s safe or loved. She’s ready for her forever family, one that will spoil her rotten and remind her every single day that she matters.
