Meet Hoagie!
Hoagie is a stunning 6-year-old Husky with the most incredible crystal blue eyes you’ve ever seen. But behind those beautiful eyes is a story of resilience, survival, and a second chance.
Hoagie was found wandering the streets completely alone and in heartbreaking condition. He was severely neglected—covered in fleas and ticks, suffering from fly dermatitis on his ears, painfully matted, and far too thin. Thankfully, a kind-hearted Good Samaritan found him and refused to look the other way. She reached out to us, welcomed him into her home as a foster, and together we began his journey back to health.
When Hoagie arrived at the vet, we discovered he was microchipped. We exhausted every avenue trying to locate and contact his owners, but sadly, no one ever came for him.
Their loss is someone else’s incredible opportunity.
Despite everything he has been through, Hoagie has remained nothing but sweet, gentle, and loving. His foster quickly realized that he had clearly been someone’s beloved pet at one point in his life. He is completely potty trained, crate trained, and has wonderful house manners. He gets along great with other dogs and has been an absolute joy to foster.
Like any good Husky, Hoagie enjoys being with his people and would love a family that will include him in their adventures, whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, a road trip, or simply relaxing at home together. Most of all, he wants to be loved and know he belongs.
Hoagie has overcome neglect, abandonment, and uncertainty, and through it all he has never lost his sweet spirit. Now all he needs is a family who will love him for the rest of his life and never leave him behind again.
