About Stevie

Meet Stevie!
For the first time in her life, it’s Stevie’s turn to be the baby.
This beautiful 3-year-old Belgian Malinois has spent her entire life surviving instead of living. Dumped on the streets and left to fend for herself, Stevie wandered alone searching for food, water, and a safe place to sleep. Neighbors told us they had seen her with two previous litters of puppies, but one by one, those puppies disappeared. No one knows what happened to them, but Stevie was left to carry on alone.
When we found her, she was pregnant once again.
We rushed her to our incredible team at East Lake Veterinary Hospital, and just hours after arriving safely, Stevie gave birth to 10 beautiful puppies. For the first time, she didn’t have to worry about protecting her babies on the streets. She was warm, safe, well-fed, and surrounded by people who cared.
Stevie proved to be the most incredible mom. She lovingly raised all ten of her puppies, and thanks to her devotion—and the amazing care she received—every single one of them is healthy, thriving, and will soon be searching for families of their own.
Now that her puppies are weaned, Stevie’s job is finally finished.
After years of putting survival first and motherhood before herself, she deserves to know what it’s like to simply be someone’s beloved dog.
Stevie is affectionate, loyal, and incredibly sweet. She loves people, craves attention, and is happiest just being close to those she trusts. She has the gentle heart of a dog who has never stopped believing that people can be kind, despite everything she’s been through.
She has spent her whole life taking care of everyone else.
Now it’s time for someone to take care of Stevie.
