About Hurley

Meet Hurley — a 1.5-year-old blue heeler with a big heart, a sharp mind, and a whole lot of love to give.
Hurley’s story started with heartbreak—he was left behind when his owners moved away—but thankfully, a kind woman stepped in to keep him safe until he could find his way to us. Now fully vetted, neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and both potty and crate trained, Hurley is more than ready for his fresh start.
True to his heeler roots, Hurley is incredibly smart, active, and always eager to engage with his people. He loves going for walks, learning new things, and soaking up affection—his favorite place is right next to (or on top of) his foster dad for cuddle time. He’s currently living with three other dogs and does great with them, though his playful spirit sometimes keeps him ready to go even when his dog friends are not!
Hurley is still polishing up his leash manners and improving every day—he just needs someone willing to continue guiding him. Because of his energy level and working-dog nature, he would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run, play, and stay mentally stimulated.
More than anything, Hurley is a loyal, affectionate boy who forms strong bonds with his people. He’s been through a lot, but he hasn’t let that dull his spirit—he’s just waiting for someone to give him the forever home he deserves.
If you’re looking for a smart, loving, and devoted companion, Hurley might just be your perfect match.
